I saw a beautiful tulle skirt at Anthropologie the other day, and got to thinking about how one could wear it so it didn't look quite so pretty.  I came up with a lot of outfit ideas, but the majority were a little too ballerina-ish for most of my clients.  So I took a totally different path, and paired it with the most unexpected thing I could think of - cowboy boots - and fell in love with that outfit idea.  The key to a well done juxtaposed outfit like this one, is to make sure that each of the "opposites attract" pieces have friends - i.e. the skirt, clutch, and watch would often be paired together, as would the boots, belt, and shirt.
